Hello All -

Just a quick note to catch up a bit, and share some pics from the past couple of days.  Yesterday was pretty much a "taking care of business" day.  We bought our train tickets for Kushinigar and one for Ilmari for Delhi, (he is flying back to Finland Nov. 13th).  Then we needed sandals, lighter shirts, toilet paper, etc.  The guys took a  2 hour long late afternoon yoga class, then it was dinner time and the day was done.

Today we went for an early morning meditation along the Ganges and watched the sun come up and the city come alive. Then after breakfast, we went to Sarnath where Buddha gave his first teaching.  It was a fun "tuk - tuk" (motorcycle cab), ride to the park, but beyond the big Buddha, and the stupa built in Deer Park, there wasn't much to see.  Tonight we plan to rent a boat as there is going to be a festival of which part is Water Puja along the Ganges shore.  The best way to view it they say, is by boat.
